The second part, the free Resolution Program, is triggered when members become identity theft victims and is designed to ease the time-consuming aspects of recovering from identity theft. Members are assigned a personal advocate who not only works one-on-one with victims, but also notifies all relevant parties, creates and files a comprehensive case file, works with law enforcement and insurance agencies to help restore the victims proper identity and credit standing.
According to the Federal Trade Commission, an estimated 10 million Americans were victims of identity theft in 2005, and without assistance victims can lose over 20 days of work attempting to restore their identity.
