VIENNA, Va., and SAN JOSE, Calif. – All across the country credit union volunteers rolled up their sleeves and brushed up on their DIY skills to participate in National Rebuilding Together Day.
More than 40 volunteers from Navy Federal Credit Union worked diligently to complete projects for a group home in Alexandria, Virginia. Projects included building a fence in the backyard, interior painting and major yard clean up and landscaping.
"Navy Federal stands strong by the credit union credo of `people helping people' and participating with Rebuilding Together is a wonderful way to support those in our communities who are less fortunate," said Keasha Lee, Navy Federal spokeswoman.
