SEATTLE – Veteran and young credit union leaders will share the stage to discuss their unique experiences in the movement.
The panel discussion will take place at this year's African-American Credit Union Coalition's annual conference Aug. 11-12 in Seattle. Each will share their experiences and lessons learned within the movement. They will also discuss the challenges and opportunities they face in the industry and the corporate world. In its eighth year, the conference will also feature NCUA Chairman JoAnn Johnson and Tawana James, director of the agency's small credit union division. There will also be presentations by Seattle's business and government leaders including one from the Seattle Urban League on the state of blacks in America.
