WASHINGTON – Despite a minor scheduling delay, the new Maryland & D.C. Credit Union League's D.C. office will officially open for business May 18.

The project was delayed due to the permitting process, but the MDDCCUA said it's still on track for being nearly completed in time for a planned ribbon cutting and open house.

MDDCCUA Vice President of Credit Union Development Sarah Turner will be the officer in charge of the location.

In addition, Brian Tate and Greg Saphier, managers of governmental affairs will also be based at the D.C. office to take advantage of the close location to Congress.

The MDDCCUA said full-time use of the space for training sessions will begin later in May, with a variety of sessions being offered in the second half of 2006.
