SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Empire Federal Credit Union is answering members' prayers by opening a new Camillus branch this summer.

The 2,400 square foot facility will be a full-service branch with four teller stations, a greeter station, and drive-up teller and ATM lanes. Staffing will include tellers, a manager and two financial service representatives.

The branch also will have an office for Empire's financial planning subsidiary, Empire Associated Services and a homey reception area complete with fireplace.

Chris McQueeney, Empire FCU vice president of information technology, and Camillus branch project manager, is excited about the location.

“The branch will be the latest business to open in the Camillus Commons area, following a Lowe's and Applebee's, and where a Super Wal-Mart is scheduled to open soon. It's a great location.”

Approximately 1,700 Empire members live in the Camillus area.
