TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Credit Union 24, the credit union-owned ATM and EFT network headquartered in Tallahassee, has eliminated membership fee minimums for its member-shareholders. The decision by the EFT network's board is one of the immediate benefits of a new switch-processing agreement with Fifth Third Processing Solutions, the CU said.
"One of the early dividends of the new switch relationship with Fifth Third Processing Solutions is the elimination of membership minimums for shareholders," said Credit Union 24 CEO Jim Park. "FTPS' pricing and support has allowed us to look at a lot of different ways to reduce our costs and improve network services."
As soon as members complete the transition to the new switch, Park anticipates significant savings for members in transaction processing and gateways, in addition to a variety of other services that have yet to be announced.
