WESTBROOK, Me. – Great Falls Regional FCU, Lewiston, and Portland ME Police Department FCU have each signed 10-year agreements to use Synergent for data processing services. In 2004, Synergent, a subsidiary of the Maine Credit Union League, began implementation of the new Episys platform for Technology Services and so far has converted 22 CUs to the new platform. Synergent’s Gary Glenn, vice president of technology, said the conversion process “is going well and the feedback from credit unions has been positive regarding Synergent’s commitment to service and follow-up before, during and after the conversion.” He said the company appreciates the confidence shown by the two CUs, not only in choosing to continue their relationships with Synergent’s Technology Service, but also with the length of their agreements.
