MANASSAS, Va. – To help promote business development in one of the county's fastest growing areas here, Synergy One Federal Credit Union and the local chamber have teamed up. The Prince William County-Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce said it has partnered with the $198 million credit union to promote services and retail outlets that serve the booming residential population. According to the chamber, the population in Prince William County grew 133% from 2000 to 2005. Businesses here also grew 47% during the same time period. Chamber officials said they recognize the future growth in western Prince William County and its members are looking forward to "(serving) the thriving business community."
