MEDFORD, Ore. - Rogue Federal Credit Union is extending its Youth Week celebration to the entire month of April. From April 3rd to April 28th, 2006, RFCU will offer coloring and penny pig contests, deposit contests, book drives and a skate party for Kitty Clubbers. CU Succeed seminars will also be offered for their young members 15-18 years of age. CU Succeed seminars are a series of financial classes based on checking account basics, electronic services, budgeting and credit. RFCU began this program last April to help young people learn how to plan to achieve financial security. Given the poor financial literacy test scores from across the county, leadership in helping raise the awareness of financial issues and start teaching money-savvy kids is a RFCU priority. RFCU programs for children range in age from Kitty Clubbers (11 and younger), CU Succeed Middle School (12-14 years old) and CU Succeed High School (15-18 years old).
