CU Direct Wins Auto Dealer Monthly Diamond Award

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – CU Direct Corp. has been named this year’s recipient of Auto Dealer Monthly magazine’s Diamond Award for the Prime Credit Lender – Non-Captive category of the magazine’s 2006 Dealers’ Choice Awards. This is CUDL’s first time receiving the prestigious award. The magazine’s overall survey rating ranked CUDL ahead of both Citizens Bank and Wells Fargo Auto Finance, which won the Platinum and Gold awards respectively. The survey provides dealers the ability to choose winners in 20 categories of products and services. Nearly 16,000 votes were cast. Ratings were gathered on the performance of the product or service as well as the support and service from the provider and the overall value compared to cost to the dealership. CU Direct President/CEO Tony Boutelle said, “We accept this award on behalf of all the credit unions on the CUDL platform that are providing dealers with great service and helping them sell more automobiles.” The CUDL network currently includes over 7,000 dealerships and 550 credit unions with 17.3 million potential car-buying members in over 40 states.
