HARRISBURG, Pa. – The second PaCUSC ad campaign in the Pittsburgh market launched on Sunday night, March 5, with two bonus spots which aired during the Academy Awards program on WTAE-TV, the ABC affiliate in Pittsburgh. The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association said the 10:34 p.m. ad drew a market share of 24 which means 24% of all households in the Pittsburgh area were watching the program. The second ad ran at 11:21 p.m. and earned a market share of 21. The six-month ad campaign promotes shared branching in Pittsburgh. The five sponsoring credit unions of the ad campaign include: A-K Valley FCU, Clearview FCU, Omega FCU, Pittsburgh Central FCU, and WEST-AIRCOMM FCU. PCUA Senior Vice President, Communications & Marketing Mike Wishnow said the "ad campaign has developed into a terrific partnership between WTAE and Pittsburgh area credit unions."
