Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, has broken ground for the relocation of its Brooks Branch. The new branch will be easily accessible to members living in South San Antonio and features a full-service lobby, six drive-thru teller lanes, and two drive-up ATMs. The current location will remain open until the new location opens in late August 2006. CME Federal Credit Union, Columbus, Ohio, recently celebrated the opening of its new Hillard location. This branch, the CU's forth, features a retail concept that has not been seen in the Columbus market. Replacing the traditional teller line are transaction stations and the office's interior looks more like a living room than a financial institution. There are four drive-thru lanes, one featuring an image-enabled depository ATM, making it possible to do every type of transaction from the vehicle. The CU's innovative design is part of a growing trend to make retail branches more appealing to members.
