Earthmover Credit Union, Oswego, Ill., Loan Officer Lisa Miller has been recognized for 10 years of dedicated service. To honor Miller for her many years of service she was presented a certificate and congratulatory clock as a token of appreciation for her commitment to ECU. Miller started working at ECU on November 27, 1995. Since her start date, she has held the positions of member service representative, lead member service representative and lead financial service representative. Throughout her years of service, Miller has played an important role in the advancement and growth of ECU. Gateway Metro Credit Union, St. Louis, has celebrated 70 years of member service. Gateway Metro CU was founded on December 17, 1935 as St. Louis Headquarters Telephone Credit Union, and was originally located in the Southwestern Bell building at 1010 Pine Street. Today, Gateway Metro has over 26,000 members, $166 million in assets and nine St. Louis area locations. Indiana Members Credit Union, has recently turned 50. From humble beginnings on the second floor of an old barracks building the credit union has grown to be one of the largest in Indiana. Its assets are nearing $1 billion dollars, and it serves over 97,000 members. South Carolina Federal Credit Union, North Charleston, has celebrated 70 years of service. To mark the anniversary each branch featured a historic timeline marking significant events in the credit union’s history. Members were invited to commemorate their significant events on the timeline and add their signatures to the display. SC Federal has over $1.2 billion in asset size, 19 branches, and serves over 150,000 members. Group Service Employees Federal Credit Union, Tulsa, Okla., will celebrate its 50 years of service with year-long events. The credit union, which was chartered in October of 1956, will kick-off its celebrations with a $2,000 give-a-way at its annual meeting. The CU will also be giving away eight trips throughout the year, quarterly, with the grand prize trip slated to be given away in October. The grand prize trip will be a five-day cruise out of Galveston, Texas. Hanscom Federal Credit Union, Hanscom AFB, Mass., Senior Loan Officer Ute Warren has been honored for her 40 years of service. During a special presentation at the annual employee appreciation dinner, Warren received a standing ovation from staff and volunteers, along with a bouquet of 40 roses. Starting out as a teller in 1965, Warren over the years managed branch offices, has overseen several branches, and worked in the lending department. In addition to the roses, Warren received a special gift from the credit union: a gift certificate for a balloon ride. Pinellas Federal Credit Union, Largo, Fla., is turning 50. To ring in its Golden Anniversary, plans are underway to celebrate the milestone during the annual meeting. After the meeting members and staffers alike will enjoy a fabulous 1950′s -themed party with food, fun, games, and prizes. North Dakota Credit Union League, Bismarck, Administrative Coordinator Debbie Kruckenberg has been recognized for 30 years of service. Kruckenberg started as the bookkeeper with the League in 1976. League staff and the board of directors organized a “roast” presenting her with a variety of gag gifts and cards. On a more serious note Kruckenberg was also presented an engraved crystal clock for her dedication and service over the years.
