BAYTOWN, Texas – Looking to ensure that only the best are employed at credit unions and other financial institutions, John M. Floyd & Associates has launched a new Executive Search Group division. Created to identify, scrutinize and recruit top caliber candidates for senior managerial positions in the financial industry, the JMFA Executive Search Group will include executive consultants Garry Modrell and Charles Shanley. Modrell, who joined JMFA in 2005, has 26 years experience in banking search, primarily commercial banking, nationwide. He was previously with an independent executive search firm for seven years. Shanley has specialized in executive recruiting and project management for more than a decade. Prior to joining JMFA, he worked for several years as a recruiting manager in one of the largest recruiting firms within the industry that specializes in the credit union market. Prior experience also includes placing top executives in the areas of financial services, engineering and petrochemicals.
