LOWELL, Mass. – Diane Rondeau, who passed away on Dec. 25, was recently honored by Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union for the mark she left on teller operations. The CU held a dedication ceremony Feb. 21 naming its employee training room "The Diane M. Rondeau Education Facility." Rondeau joined the CU in April 1990 as a teller and became head teller at the main office soon after. She went on to become the teller operations manager and assistant treasurer. "Diane was an integral part of the credit union", said Paul Mayotte, president/CEO, Jeanne D'Arc CU. "She mentored and coached many of our staff even after they had moved on to other departments, becoming a significant influence in their growth in the credit union. She was a cherished member of our credit union family and we miss her tremendously." The dedication ceremony was attended by both employees and Rondeau's family members. An annual scholarship in the amount of $1,000 for an employee will also be established in her name, according to the CU.
