HARRISBURG, Pa. -With nationwide membership, one branch, and no ATMs, the $182 million NAPUS Federal Credit Union looked to eCU Technologies and its online deposit solution, UPost to help its serve its growing membership. UPost allows members to gain immediate access to their funds after they're deposited online. NAPUS will launch UPost in June of this year. One of the biggest obstacles for NAPUS members was depositing checks, having to mail it and then wait for funds to be accessible.With UPost, a member located anywhere in the country can deposit a check's funds online and have immediate access to funds. According to Becca Cuddy, CEO for NAPUS Federal Credit Union, NAPUS will be launching Symitar's bill pay solution about the same time as UPost. Cuddy sees these two Web-based solutions working together quite well for members depositing funds and then using those funds to pay their bills – all online within the same day. "UPost is definitely the answer for us in helping our members with their deposits. The biggest benefit is getting immediate access to their money," says Cuddy. "Once UPost is live, they won't have any further delays in paying their bills. It's so much more convenient for them. We're very excited about it."
