Pacific Service Credit Union, Walnut Creek, Calif., has donated two toddler play structures to Children’s Hospital Central California. Last year, Habitat for Humanity of Dane County announced an ambitious effort to raise $3.5 million to build 60 homes within the next five years. Nationwide between 8 and 12 million dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens are euthanized annually in shelters due to the lack of a home. In the Tampa Bay area alone over 80,000 pets are brought to shelters each year.
