ORLANDO, Fla. – CFE Federal Credit Union members donated $10,000 to support the American Red Cross in its continued relief efforts to help the thousands still impacted by Hurricane Katrina. This contribution is in addition to the $100,000 the credit union donated to the American Red Cross, based on a unanimous decision by the board of directors immediately following the disaster. The funds will benefit the Central Florida American Red Cross to help evacuees from the Gulf Coast who have relocated to the Greater Orlando area. "It's all about people helping people," said CFE FCU President/CEO Joseph A. Melbourne, Jr. "And we are pleased that our members and employees have generously donated these funds."
