WASHINGTON-Before he has even been confirmed to serve as chairman of the Federal Reserve, the House Financial Services Committee has already scheduled Ben Bernanke to deliver the Fed's semiannual monetary policy report to Congress. Bernanke will report to the committee on Wed., Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. His confirmation vote is expected to occur Jan. 31. The Fed chairman-nominee currently serves as chairman of the President's Council of Economic Advisors and was previously a Fed governor.
