American 1 Federal Credit Union, Jackson, Mich., has celebrated the opening of its Vandercook Lake branch. For each person that attended the open house, American 1 made a donation to the Jackson Friendly Home, a women’s senior living facility. By the end of the night, American 1 contributed $400 to the Friendly Home. Member One Federal Credit Union, Roanoke, Va., has broken ground on its latest Southwest Roanoke County branch. The new full-service facility will feature a three lane drive-thru, a drive-up ATM that is accessible 24 hours a day/7 days a week, a spacious lobby area, plentiful parking and more. Completion of the new Southwest Roanoke branch is expected during the summer of 2006. Arlington Virginia Federal Credit Union, has tapped design/build firm PWCampbell for its 31,000 square-foot new main office. The facility will be the new home for all main office operational departments and will contain a new full service retail branch including some 5,000 square feet of space for tenant usage. Members 1st Federal Credit Union, Mechanicsburg, Pa., has celebrated its 26th branch grand opening. This newest branch features lobby service, safe deposit boxes, a free coin counter for members, drive-thru service and a drive up ATM. Over 400 people attended the grand opening event. FAIRWINDS Credit Union, Orlando, Fla., has broken ground on its new full service location in Apopka branch. The credit union partnered with design/build firm KDA Holdings, Inc. to create a service center that is both functional and architecturally pleasing.
