PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Teachers Credit Union has been singled out as one of "Oregon's Most Admired Companies" in a statewide survey by the Portland Business Journal. The $2 billion credit union was one of the top 10 listed in the Banking Services category, which includes credit unions, banks and savings and loans. This marks the first year of the Portland Business Journal's "Oregon's Most Admired Companies" program. PTCU was the only credit union named in the Banking Services category. "This honor is a reflection of the commitment and hard work of our entire organization," said PTCU President/CEO Cliff Dias. "We are proud and extremely honored by this recognition." More than 800 CEOs from throughout Oregon were asked to rank companies in the state based on the following attributes: innovation, branding and marketing, quality of management, community involvement and quality of products and services. For the past five years the credit union has been honored as one of "100 Best Companies" to work for in Oregon.
