HOLMDEL, N.J. – Former SunCorp CEO Eric Kenealy has resurfaced in the credit union industry. "I've started Kenealy Consulting Group. I have been doing some strategic planning, merger planning, working on some exciting payment system research," said Kenealy. He noted that business has been steady. He has a few associates that he works with depending on the job. Kenealy said he and SunCorp have settled their differences. Kenealy's departure from SunCorp always had a cloud over it as SunCorp originally stated that it terminated Kenealy. SunCorp just recently changed it to a resignation. "I'm pleased with the outcome. SunCorp and I have resolved our differences. They've changed my termination to reflect that I resigned from my position," said Kenealy. The corporate has also provided him a reference letter. Kenealy said he is excited to be working with corporates, natural person credit unions and service corporations again. Kenealy will provide his analysis and research results in an upcoming issue of Credit Union Times of a payments study his firm recently conducted.
