SAN DIMAS, Calif. – Operation Best Wishes, a program sponsored by WesCorp and CIA Studios that allows family members to send messages via the Web to their loved ones in the military overseas, is not only scoring in the press, but with lawmakers. The program, now in its second year, has received tremendous media coverage this year. WesCorp and CIA Studios bolstered Operation Best Wishes this year by holding sessions on both coasts, whereas last year it was a West Coast event. In addition to a number of print, radio, and television stories about Operation Best Wishes, lawmakers have seen the value. Just last week Congressman David Dreier (R-Calif.) (shown here) recorded a message to troops from his office. Weeks before that, Congressman Ed Royce (R-Calif.) also recorded a message to troops.
