WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Truliant Federal Credit Union has recently dedicated the Pavilion of the Member Support Center at 3200 Truliant Way in honor of Fred J. Sarda, one of its founding members. Sarda helped charter the credit union, known then as Radio Shops, in 1952 to serve the employees of Western Electric. Honored for his commitment, vision and foresight Sarda is credited with much of Truliant's current success. He often taught Truliant's new staff orientation even well after his retirement. In memory of his living the philosophy of "people helping people", the Fred J. Sarda Pavilion will be used by credit unions and is available for use by community groups for meetings and activities.
