ST. PAUL, Minn. - There's nothing like a good Monday nightfootball game to bring people together, especially when it's thehome team playing. Monday night, Nov. 21 was no different when theMinnesota Vikings took on the Green Bay Packers. In fact, said theMinnesota CU Network, "it was a classic border battle." And theclear winner was CUNA's Credit Union Legislative Action Committee.The MnCUN's Political Involvement Committee took advantage of theMidwestern rivalry to host a Monday Night Football fundraiser thatevening. Nearly 40 people came together to watch the game on theboard room television. PIC members and their credit unionssponsored the stadium fare - bratwurst, nachos, pretzels andCracker Jacks - and cold beer for attendees. The final score wasVikings 20, Packers 17. "The most important thing is that we raisedmoney for CULAC," said MnCUN President/CEO Kevin Chandler. "Thesecond most important is that the Vikings won."
