NEWARK, Del. – The $35 million American Spirit Federal Credit Union has sold its credit card portfolio to InfiCorp, providing a somewhat rare sale in a market which has slowed appreciatively off its pace at the beginning of the year. The purchase brings InfiCorp just over 2,400 card accounts worth roughly $3.6 million in receivables, according to The ALLIANCE COMPANIES, the broker which arranged the sale. Headquartered in Newton, Massachusetts, ALLIANCE previously had been working in the affinity marketing field and began helping credit unions market their card portfolios in 2001.
