OTTUMWA, Iowa – Members of Deere Community Federated Credit Union have given the official thumbs up to a name change to Community 1st CU. Prompted to make a change after a request from Deere & Company that credit unions not associated with the company change their name to avoid consumer confusion, DCFCU is embracing its new identity. Selected to represent its commitment to members and local businesses within the community, the Community 1st name also represents the credit union's growth and movement.
