RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – For the third straight year, CU Direct Corp. will present America's Credit Unions at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention. The largest event for automobile dealers in the U.S., NADA averages over 30,000 attendees each year at its annual convention, drawing attendance from about one-third of all U.S. dealerships. The 2006 convention is being held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. from Feb. 11-14, 2006. Over 100 breakout sessions are scheduled over the four-day event. More than 31 credit unions attended the 2005 convention. CU Direct, together with credit unions from throughout the U.S. will create a unified presence at the show and provide CUs the opportunity to increase dealers' awareness of the market power CUs possess. The company, which administers the CUDL program, will also convey the importance and viability of partnerships between credit unions and dealers. As in the previous two years, CU Direct will have a 30-feet x 40-feet two-story booth that offers meeting areas where credit unions will be able to meet and network with dealers. CU Direct will also be hosting a reception during the NADA convention on Feb. 12 which will provide CUs an additional opportunity to network with key industry representatives.
