NEW YORK – A new deal between Newtek Business Services and CauseYouCare, LLC aims to streamline the process of donating to charities. Through its merchant electronic payment processing division, Newtek Merchant Solutions, the program contributes a percentage of the electronic payment processing fees paid by merchants to each merchant's favorite charity. The partnership between businesses and non-profit organizations aims to create ongoing revenue streams for worthy causes across the country, according to Newtek. For the past two years, Newtek has had the exclusive CUNA endorsement for SBA-guaranteed lending and for merchant card processing services. The alliance was recently extended for three more years. More than 150 credit unions are currently working with Newtek.
