SALT LAKE CITY – Indirect Lending Technologies LLC and CUNA Mutual Group (www.cunamutual.com)have reached an agreement to integrate their respective Internet based systems. ILT provides a complete system known as Dealer Indirect Lending and Leasing System T (DILLST) for managing indirect lending, including an automated underwriting system, for CUs and its dealer clients. Lenders Protection, a joint venture between Open Lending Inc., Austin, Texas and CUNA Mutual Group, operates an online system that automates the approval and placement of default insurance on vehicle loans for credit unions. The insurance, underwritten by CUMIS, insures all or part of a credit union’s loss if the credit union suffers a loss on the vehicle loan due to repossession and sale of the vehicle. ILT President Will McGregor said, “Integration of the two systems will enable a credit union to approve loans over a very broad spectrum of credit risk and to send an approval to the participating auto dealer through DILLS within a few minutes of receiving the application from the dealer.”
