BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. - City-County Federal Credit Union has hosted an open house in celebration of its move to a new location housing its administrative headquarters and its full-service North Suburban Branch Office. According to City-County FCU President Dean Nelson the credit union needed the new building in order to accommodate future growth. "We had to split up our management team and house some of them in a rented facility because our old building was too small. This building should be able to take us through at least the next 20 years," said Nelson. The six-story facility contains more than 104,000 square-feet of office space. In addition to its own service facility and administrative departments, the credit union currently leases space to nine businesses. Along with member services, loans, and teller services, the new facility offers members access to a full range of services including a drive-up teller, both drive-up and walk up ATMs, CU Auto, CU Preferred Investments, and safe deposit boxes. The administrative staff, which includes Marketing, Operations, Card Services, Real Estate, Technical Support, Training, Purchasing, Collections, Loss Prevention, Internet Services, and Human Resources, is once again under one roof and has plenty of room to grow.
