DALLAS – Seventeen credit unions have signed with CU Members Mortgage for mortgage origination and servicing, bringing the total number of credit unions, CUSOs and Leagues affiliated with the company to 550. The 17 CUs represent approximately 145,000 members. The CUs include the following: Los Angeles Times FCU, Calif.; Ogden School District CU, Utah; PCM Employees CU, Wis.; Gateway Community FCU, Mont.; First Alliance CU; N.Y.; U.P. Employees CU, Ark.; Cooperative Extension Service FCU, Ark.; Mayo Employees CU, Minn.; Kelly Tyler FCU, Texas; Southern Star CU, Texas; Helena Community CU, Mont.; Transmission Builders FCU, Ind.; Fire Police City County CU, Ind.; Trustar FCU, Minn.; Trans Texas Southwest CU, Texas; Transwest CU, Utah; and McKay Dee FCU, Utah. CU Members Mortgage VP Linda Clampitt said with CUNA Mutual exiting the mortgage origination and servicing business, "their former clients are looking for a new mortgage lending partner. We're getting dozens of inquiries and signing a significant amount of new business." CU Members Mortgage is a division of Colonial Savings. The company originates more than $3 billion in FHA, VA, conventional and unique single close construction loans annually and is one of the largest mortgage loan servicers in the U.S., with a portfolio of $10 billion.
