A few readers have e-mailed me wondering why we didn't include the National Association of Credit Union Chairmen in our Nov. 2 association listing, hinting that we don't care about directors. Well, nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, Credit Union Times provided extensive coverage of NACUC's Roundtable Forum in Savannah, Georgia in its Oct. 19 issue, the only CU publication to do so. We do care about directors, and unfortunately NACUC's listing, though slated to go, got dropped in a production error. Here is NACUC's association information: Name: National Association of Credit Union Chairmen Location: Del Mar, Calif. Web site: www.nacuc.org Phone: (888) 987-4247 Chairman: Charles R. Smith No. of members: 200 Primary purpose: To provide credit union chairmen with unique educational forums and networking opportunities designed to develop and improve their leadership skills and expertise.
