WATERLOO, Iowa – The CPA accolades keep coming for Jean Trainor. The president/CEO of $1 billion John Deere Community CU (JDCCU) was recently inducted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants into the 2005 AICPA Business and Industry Hall of Fame. Trainor was one of three who received the honor this year. As another testament to her expertise, the Iowa Society of CPAs recently named Trainor Iowa’s Outstanding CPA in Business & Industry for 2005. Since 1990, Trainor has been at the helm of JDCCU, which has grown from $197 million in assets to more than $1 billion serving more than 129,000 members. The largest credit union in Iowa, JDCCU will officially change its name to Veridian Credit Union in 2006.
