DENVER – Zanesville, Ohio-based Genesis Employees CU has proven that even a small credit union can be involved in indirect lending. The $7 million, 3,100-member CU has partnered with Aimbridge Indirect Lending to provide its members indirect lending services. GECU serves the Genesis HealthCare System. It has realized more than 20% growth in assets in the last two years and needed to increase its loan portfolio to continue expansion efforts. GECU President/CEO Mike King said the Aimbridge program “provides Genesis Employees CU with the tools and technology it needs to manage the indirect loan portfolio.” Aimbridge Indirect Lending has more than 300 dealer relationships in the Ohio market. It is one of three divisions of Aimbridge Lending, the other two being Aimbridge Financial Services and Aimbridge Disposition Services. Aimbridge Indirect Lending is active in eight markets – Florida, Texas, Missouri, Ohio, Georgia, Maryland, Virginia and Michigan.
