TYLER, Texas – For Kelly Tyler Federal Credit Union staffers "People Helping People" is more than just words. Despite having just wrapped up a Back-to-School Supply Donation Train, when Hurricane Katrina struck some 38 employees jumped into action to launch disaster relief fundraisers at branches throughout the month of September. According to Kelly Tyler FCU President Scott Rose, staffers raised over $2,000 for the Texas Credit Union Foundation Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund and the credit union donated an additional $725 for a total contribution of $2,735.38.
