ST PAUL – Deluxe Financial Services, perhaps best known to CUs as a check publisher, is making its Deluxe gift card available for sale in credit union branches. The card was first rolled out before the holiday season in 2004, but it was only available by phone or over the Internet. The in-branch availability will help drive branch traffic and increase cross-selling opportunities, Deluxe said. “The DeluxeCard gift card offers consumers a fast, convenient way to purchase a prepaid gift card directly from their branch location,” explained Chuck Feltz, President of Deluxe Financial Services. “By extending the DeluxeCard gift card program to include in-branch sales, Deluxe further solidifies its role as a valued partner to financial institutions, helping them provide the superior products and services that result in satisfied, loyal customers.” The Visa-branded cards are available in three designs and can be loaded with values as low as $20 and as high as $500, Deluxe said.
