KETTERING, Ohio – Day Air CU recently expanded its business services program by becoming a certified SBA 7(a) lender, adding to the growing list of credit unions that have done so. The $135 million CU can now consider loan requests up to $2 million through the SBA program. Members can use the 7(a) loan for a plethora of uses including purchasing new machinery or equipment; furniture and fixtures; a new building; or land for a new building or expansion. Day Air CU is certainly expanding its member business services program, which it launched in 2003 when it began offering commercial real estate loans; machinery and equipment financing; and revolving lines of credit. It recently partnered with Horizon Payroll Services to provide those services to members who own businesses. The CU also offers its nearly 23,000 members access to business checking accounts and merchant card processing.
