I was very surprised by the Oct. 5 article on the sale of Credit Union Times. I wish former publisher Mike Welch nothing but good luck and good health as he moves on to the next chapter of his life. I will certainly miss his columns. When I received my issue of Credit Union Times, I would take a quick look at the front cover, and then immediately go to his column to see what his subject was for the issue. I liked Welch's passion, insight, bluntness and honesty, and ability to not be swayed by groups or politics. Again, good luck and thanks.
