WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – NCUA's failure to get its disclosure argument to stick legally in the Community and OmniAmerican case may lead to more conversions, according to Credit Union Times' voting poll results. NCUA and the credit unions went to court after NCUA invalidated their conversion votes due to what it deemed improper placement of NCUA's rebuttal in the CUs' disclosure documents. NCUA lost the legal fight. One of the key problems, was the agency did not document agreements made with the CUs. Credit Union Times asked just what impact there would be from the case.
