GLENDALE, Calif. – California Credit Union has donated more than $100,000 to hurricane disaster relief through a variety of financial assistance and incentive programs. "It is humbling to see the outpouring of support from our board, employees and members," said California CU President/CEO Ron McDaniel. "We aren't finished yet." In addition to funds that were raised and matched by a corporate donation, California CU will send three employees to participate in the Gulf Coast reconstruction effort for an extended period at full pay. The credit union is also working with job placement agencies to provide employment for hurricane victims and has offered school supplies for displaced children attending schools in Los Angeles County.
