ST. PAUL, Minn. – Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union is set to reward members with a new Member Loyalty Program. Designed to reward by making members feel appreciated, the program will also serve as an opportunity for staffers to build deeper member relationships. “We feel that this type of reciprocal relationship and partnership truly reflects cooperative ideals,” said Affinity Plus FCU President/CEO Kyle Markland. “It rewards the members who use Affinity Plus the most without penalizing those members with fewer products or services with us.” Members earn one point for every dollar paid in finance charges and earned in dividends as of July 2005; 100 points for every year as an Affinity Plus member; and 100 points for referring a new member. Member loyalty points can be redeemed for consumer loan rate decreases, CD rate increases, and other items. “The Member Loyalty Program is more than just a `points program'. The intent behind it is to reward Affinity Plus members by showing them our appreciation and to create another avenue to partner and build trusting relationships with our members. As our members' needs and wants change over time, we will customize the program by leveraging dialogs we've had with them,” said Markland.
