CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – People who describe themselves as “tech optimists”, about half the population, are twice as likely to have broadband at home than the general population, according to the latest Forrester Research Technographic studies of more than 68,000 consumers. The think firm says that’s yet more evidence that financial institutions have their work cut out for them if they want to bring “tech pessimists” to the low-cost online channels favored by the “elite consumer group” now using those venues.
