FALLS CHURCH, Va. – Five credit unions from different parts of the country have joined the Encore Electronic Services Cooperative, the credit union-owned cooperative has announced. Two of the new members, the $26 million AB&W Employees Credit Union and the $13 million Hoya FCU, both based in Washington D.C. area, each joined to take part in shared branching through a relationship Encore has with the Credit Union Service Centers, one of the nation's three shared branching networks. The $22 million Spartanburg Regional FCU, headquartered in Spartanburg, N.C. joined to take advantage of Encore's merchant services program while the $31 million Pioneer Valley Postal FCU, headquartered in Springfield, Massachusetts and the $26 million United Services credit union, headquartered in Ashville, N.C. joined Encore's EFT/ATM Services and Card Services programs.
