TAMPA, Fla. – Bay Gulf Credit Union has donated $15,794 to the American Red Cross. The funds were raised thanks to the combined efforts of employees, members, volunteers, and the credit union's Premier Partners Club. In addition, Bay Gulf CU teamed up with local radio station Q105 to host an onsite remote drive to encourage additional donations for victims of Hurricane Katrina, which resulted in more than $70,000. Key contributors included Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union, Tampa Chapter of Credit Unions, and Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union.
