NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Leveraging its new collaborative CUSO business model, NACUSO has partnered with two CUSOs – CU*Answers and Beyond Marketing LLC – for marketing, accounting and Web services and products. NACUSO said the two CUSOs were selected by association executives "because of their industry knowledge and experience." NACUSO interim president Vic Pantea, president/chief operating officer of Member Gateways LLC said, "By staying in the industry, we have the advantage of our providers' expertise in credit unions and CUSOs. And, we are buying from our own family of products." CU*Answers will be responsible for updating the NACUSO Web site and expanding its capabilities. Beyond Marketing, the first full-service marketing CUSO, offers services ranging from strategic planning and research to promotions. The CUSO is providing materials for NACUSO's upcoming conferences, membership initiatives and Web site content. Marketing plans are also being developed for 2006 to assist NACUSO in its growth and repositioning plans. Pantea added that by partnering with the two CUSOs, "we want to prove that CUSO-owned solutions are ideal for NACUSO, credit unions and CUSOs."
