CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union employees who once a quarter put together care packages of much-needed items to send to an employee's husband and his troop currently serving in Iraq, have recently shipped 375 pounds of love and support to the soldiers. According to execs here the most recent care package was extra special because this particular group of staffers crocheted and knitted 53 scarves to send overseas for the upcoming winter months. Some of these women were "first-time" knitters and they are currently working on another bundle of scarves to send to a troop in Afghanistan.
