MONTGOMERY, Ala. - MAX, Your Community Credit Union! is ready to play ball as the title sponsor of the MAX 2006 Southern League All-Star Baseball Game. "We are very proud to announce plans for the MAX 2006 Southern League All-Star Game," said MAX, Your Community Credit Union! President/CEO Greg McClellan. "We have partnered with the Biscuits for two seasons to bring those wonderful fireworks spectaculars to the fans at Riverwalk Stadium, and we're very excited about the opportunity to put together a world-class All-Star Game that is family-friendly, entertaining, and memorable for the Montgomery community." This marks the first time in 33 years that Montgomery has hosted the game. Players for the Southern League All-Star Game are chosen by sports writers, broadcasters and managers. According to MAX execs throughout its history, many future greats have played in the game, including Cal Ripken, Jr. and Alan Trammell.
