RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – Starting October 3, credit union clients of CU Direct will be able to hone their indirect lending-related skills through the CUSO’s online CUDL University. CU Direct spokesperson Martha Hartley said the online learning capability was unofficially launched in June at the company’s symposium. Credit unions will be able to access computer-based tutorials from the CUDL Web site from any workstation by using their user code and password. The curriculum will offer more than 127 courses in 19 indirect lending-related areas such as business development, collection and compliance. The site will provide interactive, video and audio options, and CUs will be able to track their progress.
