LOCKPORT, N.Y. - The American Red Cross has designated Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union as an official donation site for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. All proceeds collected at Cornerstone's three branches will go directly toward the American Red Cross's organized efforts to supply food, shelter, basic amenities and medical care in hurricane-affected areas throughout the U.S. "We are so grateful to companies like Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union, whose donation efforts will certainly make a difference in helping the many victims of Hurricane Katrina," said Maureen Siekierski, executive director of the American Red Cross's Lockport, N.Y. chapter.
